Clinic Policies

All bodies welcome! We have supportive pillow systems and options for bodies of all shapes, sizes and abilities. If you feel any discomfort on the treatment table please let your practitioner know so they can address your concerns. They can support you with an assortment of pillows, bolsters, arm rests; they can put you in side lying or semi seated position when you're face up on the table, or use a massage chair for your treatment. Our massage tables have a working weight limit of 650lbs/295kgs and the massage chair has a working weight limit of  350lbs/159kgs.

Masks are optional at this time. If you want your therapist to wear a mask you can call ahead or let us know when you get here, we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. If you're feeling unwell, please contact us so we can reschedule your appointment.

All touchable surfaces in treatment rooms are sanitized between each patient with a hypochlorous acid solution, which is a fragrance free hospital grade cleaner and disinfectant.

We appreciate 24 hours notice for cancellations, and try to give patients the same courtesy when a practitioner needs to cancel. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or don't show up for their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee. We can revoke the fee in case of illness or emergencies so please contact us as soon as you can.

We do not currently direct bill to ICBC, Worksafe BC or MSP.

You may pay for your treatments upfront and submit the receipt to your contact at the above organization yourself in order to be reimbursed.  If you cannot afford to pay upfront, we can refer you to nearby practitioners that do direct bill to the above groups.

Emergency Protocols:

In the case of an earthquake during a treatment, please cover yourself with the blanket and top sheet, climb under the treatment table and hold on to it with one arm, while covering your head/neck with the other arm. Stay there until the shaking stops. (Drop, Cover, Hold on protocol as seen on the BC government website.)

In the case of a fire, please quickly exit the building via the nearest door. That would be the front door you came in if you're in the first half of the clinic, (before the bend in the hallway) If you're in the back half of the clinic, (past the bend in the hallway) follow your practitioner to exit through the back door on the far left side of the staff room and take a left turn to get to the front of the clinic. Gather outside in front of the building for a headcount and wait until the firefighters let you back in the building.
